Aston is an inner city area of Birmingham.

Aston was first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086.[2] It was originally governed by its own council until it part of Birmingham in 1911.[3]

Old buildings such as the Barton Arms and Aston Hippodrome became well known.[source?]
