Help needed

[edit]

There is an abusive user constantly edit-warring on The Pandemic Special by inserting piped links to redirects. I’ve already got a complaint filed but I also need to stop my edit warring. Can you please review the edits and assist as needed? Thanks. - SanAnMan (talk) 12:23, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Normally I'd report them for edit warring but I suspect in this case you might also get sanctioned. Let me know if I can be of further help. Barry Wom (talk) 12:43, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If so it will be for fighting in what I believe is right. - SanAnMan (talk) 15:05, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at South Park shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I’m not a sockpuppet

[edit]

Ok, I didn’t realize that the article I tried to create was originally created by a sockpuppet. Perfectcheck373 (talk) 15:45, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to submit it 3 times, but was rejected immediately and I’m desperately needed some advice on improving the article. Perfectcheck373 (talk) 15:45, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Argylle

[edit]

I am disheartened to see the casting information removed. I can add citations if needed. It seemed self-explanatory that the actors were in both films by means of the link to the original Kingsman film. Starlighsky (talk) 13:14, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell, they're playing different characters in Argylle. In any case, such information does not belong in the Cast section. Barry Wom (talk) 14:20, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They are actually characters with different names, even though they are the same actors in both films. I can add it to the Talk Section. Starlighsky (talk) 16:01, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you're talking about raising the subject at the article's Talk page, please do so. I can't see the purpose of pointing out that two of the actors played different characters in the previous film. Barry Wom (talk) 16:16, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Without going into too much detail, it was a clever implication that the villains in the 1st Kingsman were actually the protagonists in "Argylle". In "Argylle", the gait of the "Keeper of Secrets" in the castle-type of building went along with this implication...to explain would take more details from the films to explain. I can bring it up in the Talk page, because a published review may have noticed this. Starlighsky (talk) 17:20, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Supermansion/Robot Chicken connection

[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=SuperMansion&diff=prev&oldid=1243589563

I'd like you to look at the images from both shows, one at the top, the other in trivia. https://robotchicken.fandom.com/wiki/Holy_O's

Both shows have an identical box of Holy O's. Why do you say they're not related at all? 2600:4808:8852:7300:886E:3D6C:E1E8:8398 (talk) 06:05, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The "Related" field in the infobox is solely for remakes, spin-offs, adaptations and such. Barry Wom (talk) 10:46, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
