Rewrite notes

[edit]
  • Better organization
    • No real lead section, too long and not a summary
  • Get rid of nostalgia
    • If we don't know something, let's not speculate on its unknown-ness.
  • Other cleanup
    • Don't direct the reader to outside website, turn it into a citation to a reference.
    • What was "...which was not suitable for the market at that specific moment in time. supposed to mean?
    • Peacock prose "entirely designed by..." etc. , speculation about arsonist.

Stratos

[edit]

Is there any evidence that the Stratos was ever made or sold other than the unit shown at the show the day before OPI went under? Iv'e seen a number of Telestrats - I've never seen evidence of a Stratos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.145.104 (talk) 20:59, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Super reliable" tape interface?

[edit]

How can it be deemed as super-reliable if there was allegedly a faulty error-check routine in ROM that would prevent programs to be loaded back? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.55.62.246 (talk) 15:58, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection

[edit]

I expected OriC to be origin of replication, chromosomal, for bacteria. Could this be added as redirection notice? 2A02:8388:1602:6D80:C080:419D:679D:C9F8 (talk) 03:03, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I found that a redirect from OriC did already exist, but I added it to the template at the top of this article. Good call, as many users would type all lower case when searching and could miss it. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 12:00, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
