Pogroms

[edit]

When the Soviet Union invaded and annexed Estonia for the first time in 1940, anti-semitic pogroms started right away and many Jews were deported to Siberia.

The claim on pogroms is unsourced and, as far as I know, it is false. There might have been Jews who were deported to Siberia, and there might have been many, but I don't think this is relevant in this context because there were no deportations of Jews as such.
