Few Things

[edit]

1. In Japanese version of this film, Dawson came from Italy, not England or Scotland or wherever.

2. Japanese version has a James Bond-esque starting, with G-13's skeleton dancing or whatever.

3. Streamline had originally released the VHS version of this movie in 16:9 widescreen and included the theatrical trailer.

4. This movie was wonderful to see in a theater.

5. Can somebody provide proof Dawson was named after Dawson?

6. Is the villain Snake just Robert Dawson brought back to life? I've always thought so.

After hearing the commentary on the bluray release, the director said that he named the character Dawson after his friend, and also that he felt the name sounded very manly and powerful.

After viewing the new blue-ray's Japanese commentary I discovered that at the end Golgo does in fact get shot by Laura, but he just accepts it, if needed I can provide a small clip with the mentioned subtitles.
