13th Century Bailey Gate made of rubble fint and stone dressings. It forms the north gate of the fortifications of Castle Acre Castle.
Created by the Earl of Surrey in the 13th century, this twin-towered gatehouse was originally the north of two gates in the 13th century town wall.
