Great Mosque of An-nur is Pekanbaru`s Islamic Center. It is said as the biggest mosque in Sumatera. This big mosque are frequently visited by towns people and tourists every day, either for religious activities, morning or afternoon exercise, taking picture or browsing the internet because it is equipped with free WiFi (Wireless Fidelity). It is not a complete journey to Riau if doesn’t come by to Agung An Nur Mosque. This huge mosque is a combination of Malay, Arabic, and Turkish architecture, and is growing to be an “icon” or “landmark” of Pekanbaru. The Agung An Nur Mosque is equipped with various facilities such as education facility starting from playgroup, kindergarten, elementary, high school even a complete library, roomy hall and Islamic organization offices.
