The selected area is that of the unincorporated commnuity of Key West, Iowa. They planned it for years as the spot where Route 52 and 151 met, and planned to make it exclusive. Locals would not call this area "exclusive, although upon the west side of this area LOTS of subdivisions are popping up as you head towards the industries.

There is a shortcut for locals that starts here that BYPASSES downtown Dubuque. Kelly Lane, Old Mill Road....
