Built by the Lehigh Valley Railroad in the early 1900's, it was a joint faculty used by the Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania Railroad's. It was passed onto Conrail in 1976, and is now owned by Conrail Shared Assets, which is jointly owned by CSX and Norfolk Southern, which both use the facility. Canadian Pacific sometimes uses the facility via trackage rights down the CSX river sub or over Norfolk Southern's Lehigh Line from Scranton.
