  • My father was stationed here on Kodiak from 1967-1969 as an RM2 at Navradsta which we as a family got to see when we were fairly new there. This is where I found out what it was like to camp, track, hike, and be exposed to the incredible blizzards and long summer nights. I went to 2 different types of schools. The regular K-5 was just a few minutes away from outside our duplex. The special education school was located on the High School grounds in T-buildings.
