Legendary place of the Kenyahs and some Kayan of Borneo. Apau in local dialect is Plateau. Usun mean in local dialect is on top of, further up, also as a noun as a name of a women. There are reportedly numerous high rise waterfall such as Julan and Selio waterfall (a.k.a U-ong Julan in Kenyah's language) coming from this Usun Apau that feed to Baram river, Balui river and Tinjar river. Was told as a scared place of the former Kenyahs samans.

  • The pictures above are courtesy of some courageous adventurers who dared to venture thru rough water rapids, jungles etc. At one time this place was ear marked to be turned into a millionaires golf course by Sarawak own Politicians but was critised by the Locals. This place seem to be like an old inactive volcanic activities of the past dino years....
