  • Wonderful place...the lungs of the area
  • This is one of the last serviving lung of city of Kolkata.People from all walks of life can enjoy the nature without cost.People surrounding the area though love this beautiful place very much,but there is little effort to save this from deterioration. Plastics are daily thrown.Pigs are moving in northern peripherial locations.Due to this the ecosystem of the lake is undersevere attack.THe anglers association and Subhas Sarobar Welfare association is doing their best.But still a lot is to be done. Participation from people as well as from KMC/K.I.T. can save this place.It is heard that there is a plan of privatisation. But such type of profit motive will destroy the place for ever.
  • fishing pass or ticket is rs 100/- for member and rs 200/- for non member for 3 reels
  • how can i get a ticket for fishing ? I am not a member. please suggest.
