A New Organ at St. Thomas
It has been quite a weekend at St. Thomas, New York City, a church long admired by many for its extraordinary musical tradition.
The new Miller-Scott Organ was heard at full strength at several events this weekend, including
- a Dedication Recital on Friday night
- a Choral Eucharist on Sunday which included the dedication of the organ and a new organ work written for the occasion by Daniel Ficarri
- a Choral Evensong on Sunday afternoon.
All of these events can be heard online. Other services can be accessed on the webcasts page.
