Gecko 1.9.1
- Beta 4 progress: JS has 6 bugs blocking the last planned beta, and 3 of those 6 have patches or has a potential fix. Overall, 7 remaining P1s.

- There's several ongoing dev.planning discussions of the work lists for each of the groups. Links to threads: Javascript, GFX, Layout, and Content.

- Next steps are to discuss the overall plan for what the next Gecko release will look like, not just features, but duration and timing.

- Website Compatibility Testing Project Results Page is live on QMO! Please help test your banking and financial sites on Firefox and log your results here.
- Finished the QMO Discoverability Project Page including mock-ups. This is now up for review via the dev-quality newsgroup.
- Ported the Litmus Triaging Guidelines to QMO.
- A Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 Testday is planned for Friday.

- Top Site Automated Regression Testing found 2 critical regressions in TM last week: bug 488734 and bug 489007
- Accessibility: Reviewed the addition of WAI-ARIA landmarks to the WordPress default template submitted by Peter Krantz, a Swedish accessibility expert. Submitted a similar ticket for bbPress, Automattic's forum software project. Also published an article on using NVDA to aid in website testing. Worked together with Frank Hecker, David Bolter, Willie Walker and a few others on the new high-level Mozilla accessibility strategy document.
- Metrics: broadened our project metrics analysis to include branch coverage. This will give us better insights into the complexity of the code and answer recent questions about security sensitive files we might want to keep an eye on.
Test Development
- Got first test system working on Windows Mobile - XPCShell
- Develop community fennec testdev initiative
- Streamlined Mozmill testing of extensions from the command line. Still need to document...

Add-ons
- Compatibility Update
- 77% of add-ons now compatible with Fx3.1b3 and above
- Measuring was revised to exclude the Sun Java Console because of impact on user experience and they way they do updates. Measured the old way, 3.1b3 compatibility is now at 70.4%, still an increase.
Webdev
- Alex Buchanan starts today fulltime. Welcome Alex!
- AMO 5.0.5 open bugs & fixed bugs - Code Freeze 4/27; Code Push 4/30
- Socorro - Lars and team are focusing on dumps migration to reduce overall database size prior to hardware migration -- moving the db as-is would require 24 hours+ of downtime vs. 1-3 hours. Once this dump migration is tested, we will move dumps out of the main database and will proceed with the hardware migration. Time frame for completion is 2 weeks.
L10n
- 70 locales participating in Firefox 3.5 beta 4
- Web l10n for the FF 3.5 is in process

Foundation Updates
- With the help of the Mozilla accessibility developers we drafted a proposed accessibility strategy and blogged about it.
- Last week's open web tech seminar of the online educators course has been rescheduled for Tuesday of this week; there will also be the regularly-scheduled week 4 seminar on Thursday.
