If it was not the first one to bloom it is NOT Elephant Heart.
There is another plum that people call E.H. but is really something
else. I believe it is called San Jose Red or something like that.
It is not as good as E.H.
I have one and it is just as bas a polinator in Oregon.
In CA where there are honey bees it seems to do much better..
Honey bees do not come out here in time for E.H. or San Jose Red.
We have to depend on the small native bees.
A man next door has several hives but they are no use here that early.
