  • 4 eggs 
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbs. honey 
  • all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1/2 lb butter or margarine
  • 2 tbs. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup walnuts 
  • raisins 
    •  
Combine sugar, honey, eggs, butter or margarine, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add flour and mix well to get "sour cream" consistency. Add raisins and walnuts, leaving a few to decorate the top of the cake. Brush baking pan with a vegetable oil. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out dry. Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes. Cut into squares or bars.
