Khowst Terrorist Complex, Main Camp

The camps comprising the Khowst Complex sustained moderate to severe damage. The capability to sustain terrorist operations from these facilities, for the near term, was significantly reduced. The Main Camp had seven buildings either severely damaged or destroyed. The anti-terrorist strikes on the terrorist camps in Afghanistan took place on Aug. 20, 1998. (Released)

Khowst Terrorist Complex, West Camp

The camps comprising the Khowst Complex sustained moderate to severe damage. The capability to sustain terrorist operations from these facilities, for the near term, was significantly reduced. The West Camp was assessed as having severe damage to the majority of the buildings. The anti-terrorist strikes on the terrorist camps in Afghanistan took place on Aug. 20, 1998. (Released)
