Palace of King David
Introduction
The Palace of David is in Jerusalem. This palace has the great value and resources of this world because this palace can support the biblical view of the people and also history of the Israel structure. The palace of David is the historically listed 60 meters (about 200) feet wide. This palace was bulit around 10th century B.C.. The speculation is it was around the living of king david. [1]
Discoveries about palace of david
The palace of David has been really secret and not shown to the world in full facts. The reason archeologists did not have any information is they could not find the evidences and pieces together. Even though a lot of archeologists found the some evidential pieces of King David's palace, they could not say it is King david's palace with full confidence. So there can be little speculations and doubts from a lot of people in the world. There is some evidences of palace of david in the bible. The palace of david is also city of david. Which means there has to be some evidences of citizens in that time. The people who are working on the biblical archeology wants to give full discoveries of the palace of david because they do not want any exceptions of God's history. The discovery of palace of king David can help us to identify the history of Jerusalem or the history of bible. Also the scriptures of bible tell us a lot about David. The scriptures tell us the importance of David because he was the guy the God chose, for the leader of his people.[3][4]
Eliat Mazar is the most dominant and fully known archeologist that trying to find God's work in this world. She was very confident and sure about the destination of the city of David( palace of David). She started looking at the northern part of the most ancient area of Jerusalem. She was astounded by the amount of research of Jerusalem, specially about the city of King david. She was most surprised with the research by British archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon. Archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon was having research in 1960s. She had found the most dynamic and great evidence that Eliat Mazar needs in northern part of Jerusalem . Archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon has discovered new casemate walla built by King Solomon. Which can prove that the city of David was there too. The reason of why King david's palace happens to be there is the solomon has lived the same place as his dad and rule there. However some archeologist disagrees with the Eliat Mazar's prediction and evidences of her work. The reason they do not believe in her is house that Hiram, king of Tyre made the building around that time and area. Other speculation is that it can also be the Fortress of Zion, the ruler of that area before the king David took over him, but in that area the bible really do not support it. [5][3]
Eliat Mazar has found the a major public building or wall that came around the 10th century B.C.. It was great discovery that came directly from the bible. She also found the pottery with those walls. She and her fellow committee believes this was used by the time that Israel was ruled by King David and Solomon. The discovery of Eliat Mazar, the public building, is the walls from the palace of David that are about 2 yards thick and at least 30 yards long wide. She has found the pottery of Iron Age II, which was from the 9 or 10th centuries.[5]
History of palace of King David
The history of David has been shown and wrote in the bible. the significance of palace of David is the history of the david himself. the one of the important thing about the palace of David is that the palace was built during the David's rule. There can be palaces or castles or cities around the Jerusalem. The importance goes through this. Was the building or structure they have found is the palace of David's or the palace of other kings or owners in that time. Also the equipment of that time was the very important for the historical point of view because those equipments can determine or help little bit more to collect evidence of that time or area(region). The Eliat Mazar has discovered the pottery of the Israel people to determine who has lived there. She actually said this was made by the people of David and for the palace of David[1]
