Neurologist
God has designed us all in his image and he has hand woven all our parts. The most amazing thing that he put together is our brains. The brain is so extremely complex.[1] When and if you want to become a Neurologist you have to have graduated high school. You’re also required to study physics, biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, mathematics, and English. After high school you have to study Premed and four years of medical schooling. A neurologist has a very important job. They are in charge of helping and fixing your nervous system if you give it any damage. A neurologist is also able to help your central, autonomous, and peripheral nervous systems, and of those systems’ respective coverings, including effector tissues like muscles and blood vessels. [2]
What is required of a Neurologist
A neurologist has a very important job. They are in charge of help and fixing your nervous system if you give it any damage. A neurologist are also able to help your central, autonomous, and peripheral nervous systems, and of those systems’ respective coverings, including effector tissues like muscles and blood vessels. There are many different types of medical conditions that they have to treat such as cognitive/behavioral syndromes, epilepsy, traumatic injuries of the brain, cerebrovascular diseases like strokes, sleep disorders (including insomnia), cerebral palsy, encephalitis, infections that occur in the peripheral nervous system, tumors in the brain and spinal cord, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders (including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and Huntington’s disease), meningitis, myelitis, movement disorders (including Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, tic disorder, and hemiballismus), altered mental higher status, coma, stupor, and encephalopathy. They may also have to treat neurological disorders for which there are no apparent physiological causes.[3]
Training and education
When and if you want to become a Neurologist you have to have graduated high school. You’re also required to study physics, biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, mathematics, and English. After high school you have to do Pre-med and four years of medical schooling. While you doing your three to four years of internship you will be practicing internal medicine for your first year and then, three years of training in neurological diagnostic procedures. That equals a total of about twelve years of postsecondary education. You can also take an optional training of subspecialties, like vascular neurology, interventional neurology, epilepsy, neurorehabilitation, sleep medicine, neuroimmunology, pain management, behavioral neurology, and clinical neurophysiology.
After you're finished with your internship, you need to supply for a license in the state that you want to work in. Once you have your license, you are free to work wherever you want; either a medical institute, hospital or volunteer for services in a community center, nursing home.[2]
Anatomy Of the Brain
God has designed us all in His image and He has hand woven all our parts. The most amazing thing that he put together is our brains! The brain and everything that happens in the brain is so extremely complex. There are many different functions that the brain has to process. When you move you usually think about it before you do it, the brain helps you think about what you want to do it before you move. The brain is kind of like a big control center, we are the mother ship and the brain is the control center that communicates to the rest of the body what to do. It receives the signal and interprets it, for example something is too hot or too cold, the brain sends that signal throughout the body so it can react to it and not get burnt or frostbite. There are two very important structures that make our body move and react; it’s the brain and spinal cord. Without them we wouldn't be able to move, react, walk and lives our life normally. [4]
