- Digizon.com
If you are looking for a woman's web site that does not contain pages full of beauty tips this is the web page to get into. Digizon.com is dedicated to offering services for women such as on-line marketing, audio productions online community building, consulting and training. You can also log on to their popular web site, amazoncity.com, which is a web page that is fun and very up to date compared to ordinary web sites for women. Digizon.com is definitely an inspiring web site for the working woman. - Feminist.com
This web site is primarily for women and young girls who are interested in meeting other women, building a business, becoming active in politics, and simply to empower themselves. This web site enables women to find help in many different areas such as health issues, classifieds, articles and speeches. Young girls from the ages of 8 to the early teens can connect directly to the web site's sponsor "New Moon: The Magazine for Girls and their Dream." The editors of this magazine are ages 8-14, which makes it much easier for young girls to relate with. Overall, this web site provides a wide range of topics for the woman who is seeking female awareness, involvement and activism. - Feminism.net appears in English and Chinese, this site was founded December 1, 1995 in Taiwan. Their sole purpose is to provide a user-friendly site for women to become more fluent with the Internet. Within that process of knowledge and power the individual is able to tap into a larger realm of communication, technology, and business. At each click every page is bilingual, English first and then in Chinese. This website is very informative, although unfortunately I cannot read Chinese, and sometimes some pertinent meanings can get lost in the translation. Overall this site serves as a link up with other Taiwanese across the world because a lot of the issues and forum opportunities revolve around the Asian women's plight for equality and advancement. For example, the site lists women's conferences, grants, and academic opportunities in the Asian Region. Overall, this website is good for networking, specifically for Taiwanese peoples, because of the bilingual and the location (China) for the networking opportunities.

- WIDNET, Women in Development Network, an international website for the advancement of women around the world. This website is specifically for networking and links an individual to other resources. It does not in any way offer direct service for women in need of mental, financial, or physical attention. The website enable a person to link up with people from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. WIDNET cites women's organizations, periodicals, theme-essays, general development, WIDNET-statistics, and other gender related issues. The WIDNET website is decorated with a liberty justice, insinuating justice and equality for all women across the world. It is a professional, no-nonsense, respectable, and informative site. For example, I clicked on The Women Studies icon, and pursued to click on The Centre for Gender Studies in South Africa. Right away I was at their website, headed by their mission statements, goals, courses, people, and resources. Overall, WIDNET is a good resource for a no-nonsense approach to researching information and connecting globally with others about women's issues.
