Now first up, I mean this in the simplest sense. Veganism is a VERY recent social construct. Vegetarianism has existed for thousands of years, but the idea that one would not consume or use ANY ANIMAL PRODUCTS, is something that only exists in modern, first world, affluent humanity.
That being said, some vegans aren’t Normal, but also JUST FUCKING STRANGE!
This Audience Are Watching How Bacon Is Made.
If This Is How We React When We Watch Animals Being ‘Processed’ For Us…….
So this is totally bullshit. #1. They don’t even show a bit of what the audience is watching, they might even be actors.
#2. It’s tough to get audiences to react at this level for even sad movies, or even a jury at a murder trial when there is video.
But we can also test it with our own eyes. “How Bacon is Made”? OK!
That actually looks really good. But I know, “THEY AREN’T SHOWING WHERE THE MEAT COMES FROM!!!!”…..OK!
I actually really like their videos, they show whole-animals butchering for a bunch of species.
OH BUT IT DOESN’T SHOW THE ANIMAL BEING KILLED
Age restriction because of the blood, but I actually saved this one for last because it shows the level of CARE that goes into the meat industry. Just because they’re going to kill these pigs doesn’t mean they hate them, or mean them harm.
Further even if a farmer or a plant worker was a total sociopath and ENJOYED torturing animals….such treatment produces poor animals, and therefore less money. So the industry SELECTS for better treated animals. Since we’re talking pork, he’s the most expensive pork I can think of
I suspect since empathy seems very rare in the vegan activist world I suspect this is covering for the childish behavior of being unable to deal the the fact that we kill and eat animals. Most young kids figure this out, process it, and understand it. But clearly some don’t. Yeah the actual killing is also something urban people are isolated from….but if you live in farm country, or hunt or fish, that isn’t even strange…..and this isolation from death is VERY VERY new in the human world. It wasn’t long ago when people would be born, live, and die in the same house. And certainly seeing an animal raised, killed, butchered, and cooked was something all but the most sheltered elites had.
But rather than recognizing that they are immature, they pile on moral superiority as a mask.

So I’ve recently been using the term “Shit-Lib” at lot. If you’ve been reading this blog for long enough you’ll know I started this blog when I still considered myself a Republican, and so some of my earlier language was very partisan. I now consider myself a centrist Independent with libertarian leanings. Also I live in Massachusetts, it’s safe to assume the majority of the people I meet on a daily basis are left-of-center and vote Democrat a majority of the time….and I have ZERO problem with that. We disagree about some things, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends. Would seem dumb for me to only hang-out with gun nuts who listen to Tom Wait, GG Allin, and Ska!
And as somebody who started my interest in Politics as a Socialist Leaning Democrat, who also supported gun control, I have a LOT of Empathy of WHY they support things I disagree with….so long as they support those reasons for the RIGHT reasons.
Two examples of Shit-libs and how they differ from Liberals in general. A Liberal will support socialism because they feel the wealth gap is unreasonable, and Socialism is a fair system. They aren’t even wrong…..it just never plays out that way in practice.
A Shit Lib sees how Mao, Stalin, Castro, Chavez, among many other wealthy socialists lived as their people literally starved to death in tenement housing, and said “Yeah, Under Socialism that’ll be ME!” OR the more low-effort one of “I’m a Democrat, Democrats like Socialism”….and literally that’s where the thought ends.
Now onto my ongoing saga with Veganism So actually in this bizarre algorithm spiral I’ve met a few Vegans who are DELIGHTFUL people, so the answer to my past question “Are all Vegans low IQ liars?” the answer is a strong “No!”
Still when you say “Vegan” most people picture a sanctimonious asshole, talking about how morally superior they are to people who eat or use animal products, and how much they care for animals. Also they will often cherry pic misleading photos from agriculture, or 3rd world countries who don’t concern themselves with Animal Welfare, or cite bogus statistics.
Any attempt at a rational debate with these people will result in hostility, goalpost moving, blocking, etc.
They show ZERO empathy for their fellow man….how can they have empathy for animals?
Been thinking about this behavior for a bit, since the core of the ethos is caring….but the behavior borders on sociopathy.
Obviously Narcissism is HEAVILY selected on social media, because likes and attention, and “look at me” is crack to a Narcissist…..and that lead me to this pathology.
Superficial Charm! Many “Dark Triad” mental disorders have a expression of “Superficial Charm”. This simply means the person seems outwardly charming, but that charming behavior is not genuine in nature.
Showing my age, Rosie O’Donnel comes to mind. She was deemed “The Queen of Nice” for her outwardly charming behavior on the Rosie O’Donnel Show
But there was this interview:
And she was notoriously toxic to her staff backstage. Why was Rosie such a toxic woman, but APPEARED so nice? Clearly because it made her tons of money, especially when she came out as Gay, because the “Angry Lesbian” Stereotype is not one to foster.
But it isn’t just for money, if you, or somebody close to you was ever in an abusive relationship, either to a romantic partner, sometimes a friendship, or even parents, you’ve probably heard about the Cycle of Abuse. A Toxic person will lure people in by PRETENDING to be a good caring person. If they have a true Dark Triad Disorder, they really can’t CARE for others or feel love….so they just mimic the behavior of neurotypical person because they have discovered that “works”. Sharing, complimenting, limiting preening and gloating, all attract more people than being selfish, mean, and arrogant.
But it’s all an act, and therefore exhausting, so just like how women will talk about the JOY of coming home, taking off their heels, bra, and buisness clothes, and slipping into sweats of jammies, somebody with superficial charm longs for a time when they can let their guard down. The Cycle of Abuse starts with Superficial Charm, but slowly the abuser ramps up their self-centered and controlling behavior….until something goes too far, then apologies and massive charm start the cycle again.
I think that’s the story with these shit-vegans. They don’t care about anything but themselves, they don’t care about people, they don’t care about animals, they just like to preen, and scold, and veganism allows that. I’d actually be willing to bet a lot of these shitty vegans either A) Eat some meat, or aren’t very careful in the products they use and consume. Kinda like How Pam Anderson was an open vegan….but wore leather Ugg boots until somebody noticed. or B) Are people who never liked meat to begin with. But by “Being Vegan” it allows them to be most free to be antisocial and abusive with minimal backlash, and from a mock position of “Moral Superiority.”

So Twitter/X has thrust me into the Vegan Activist community….no idea why but here I am. And today a brilliant Vegan Mind attempted to hurt my feelings with this:
Ouch. I’ll note that Vegans, at least the activists, seem to have no ability to empathize with their fellow humans….and expect us to believe they have empathy for animals.
Because I want to I’ll explain the missing piece. DEATH IS NOT THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO SOMEBODY.
I lost a TON of loved ones where my response to word of their passing was “Thank God!” They were suffering and it was now over.
I don’t have a problem with killing in general, I have a problem with suffering.
I’m a HUGE proponent of the Death Penalty, not because of “Justice” or “Vindication”, but because I don’t think it’s right to lock another human in a box and tell them they can only leave that box once they die of old age. It’s still a death sentence, but somehow we think that’s better than a quick painless death with honor?
We all know Charles Manson
Not sure if this photo was before or after his sentencing, but he looked like this when we first locked him up…..and humanity had won, a dangerous man was put away.
