Meb. But this is an issue that really spans both party lines and economic strata. It isn't just the Thurston Howells and Scrooge McDucks who can or will take advantage, it's anybody with a get-rich scheme up his sleave and a buddy on the local government entity. One of my first reactions was that SCOTUS has just presented the Mob with a nice new field in which to diversify.

A fact that was protested by many conservastives, even some who are supporters of the President (Michelle Malkin notably). I fail to see how two wrongs suddenly make a right.

If you'd have asked me on Thurday if a situation could even be hypothetically crafted where I'd support Eminent Domain for personal profit (and not Government required services) I'd have said no...

Which is a bit of a non sequitur, since no one said they were. We ARE saying it's the Liberal wing of SCOTUS that didn't just abuse it, they damn well RAPED it, and the discussion at this point should be about "What the hell were they thinking on that damned bench and what can we do to stop this travesty", not "Well, so-and-so did it too."
