BMW 528i Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Still mad about the fact that they got the performance stats wrong, which is very much noticeable in the game. Drives more like a 520i.
Opel Corsa Biohazard RE:3 (2020) | Looks heavily inspired by the first gen Festival.
Chevrolet Impala Forza Horizon 4 (2018) | Its so good to have the '96 Impala SS back, been waiting for this to return for a long time!
Lancia Gamma Coupe The Grand Tour Game (2019) | I think this is the best thing about the whole game, the completely random selection of cars thats being added, not following the conventional "what cars do people want to see in a racing game". Its definitely the reason why I bought it, even if everything else is mediocre at best.
Terradyne Gurkha MPV Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege (2015) | Based on the model from Wildlands: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=103864
Mercedes-Benz S 600 The Grand Tour Game (2019) | Well, they just sold the game to me, what other game has an STS, E38 and W140 that you can drive?
Dodge Durango Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | Any car I wouldnt be able to drive in any other games is very much appreciated on my side!
Kia Stinger Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | Awesome to be able to drive it in Forza now. Took it around the Nordschleife yesterday, its a beast!
Mitsubishi L-200 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | Hahaha, how did this end up in the game? This was a test vehicle for the monster truck, it was never supposed to be driveable in the actual game. Very strange, looks like a level designer might have placed a spawner for it in the world which was added in one of the recent updates.
Cadillac Escala Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Wow, thats definitely one of the more poorly designed models Rockstar has pumped out. Everything just looks so blocky and unnecessarily lowpoly, just a really half-assed model really.
Hyundai Veloster Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | Great to see that Turn10 and Hyundai still have a partnership and continue to offer these free DLC packs for one of their new cars for the third time now. Great advertisement for Hyundai and great free DLC for the players.
Honda Civic Junkyard Tycoon (0) | Another Valve model, the Civic from Left 4 Dead: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=25581
Buick Century Junkyard Tycoon (0) | Thats the early 90s GM sedan from L4D, Payday2 and CS:GO www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=104238 -- Last edit: 2017-11-14 23:06:25
BMW M5 Command & Conquer: Generals (2003) | Not an E36 but a E39, you just need to zoom in close enough to tell. The hood lines are a give-away from this angle too.
Mazda 626 Command & Conquer: Generals (2003) | Not an Octavia, its a 1997ish 626 wagon as you can tell by the front fascia including the Mazda grille. The rear end looked like a 626 as well iirc.
Nismo GT-R LM Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | There seem to be multiple ways of earning these specialty dealer cars in the game (without having to spend any real money). Its pretty cool that Turn10 decided to introduce something like this in the game, makes these vehicle only more desirable. Still wish there was something like a used car dealer like you've found in GT though.
Holden Ute Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | Definitely one of the more interesting new-to-the-series cars, and something you wouldn't find in other games. Would love to see a 4-door version of this gen Commodore!
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | Very under-appreciated Ferrari which only makes it more interesting to me. Glad its back, too.
BMW M5 Forza Motorsport 7 (2017) | 2112 wrote Black wheels? didn't realise they came in that colour. They didn't, I think its supposed to be shadow chrome but the material is way too dark. -- Last edit: 2017-09-28 02:05:05
Cadillac Escalade ESV Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | CarCrazedAlex586 wrote Hey, Schaefft! Do you have any model names for the vehicles in the game? Nothing that's not visible on the model. Most cars didn't receive a model name, only the stuff you can find on the cars themselves (which are mostly trim levels or badges for engine size or type/weight classes).
Cadillac Escalade ESV Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | carcrasher88 wrote Gotta say, I'm impressed that they made a model from the ground up instead of restyling the TBT-7000 from WD2. The Escalade in WD2 looked complete garbage, that was the main reason.
Terradyne Gurkha MPV Overwatch 1 & 2 (2022) | Well, the updated Kingsrow map is part of the Uprising Event which is set 7? years before the game, so I guess normal cars were still a thing back then?
Chevrolet Impala Biohazard 7: Resident Evil (2017) | 2006+ Impala is the closest, front end and greenhouse would fit, anything else probably doesn't make sense.
Mitsubishi Emeraude Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | Desscythe17 wrote Are you hinting towards the Mitsubishi Emeraude by any chance? Bingo! Whether people wanna put that down as its name or stick to the Eunos/Xedos I'm not sure. It is intended to look like an Emeraude, but its still heavily based on the Eunos. And in case anyone is wondering about the many JDM spec cars in the game, a large portion of them are second hand grey imports directly from Japan. 80% of people seem to drive JDM Toyotas in Bolivia, this model was originally intended to be a Corolla Ceres, (it still has its alloys). To make sure that not everything in the game was based on vehicles from Toyota, and because I love Mazdas from this era so much (and owned a Xedos 6 myself), I decided to base it on the Xedos instead. To avoid confusion for the players, all cars in the game are LHD though. -- Last edit: 2017-02-25 14:04:48
Mitsubishi Emeraude Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | Before anyone leaves IGCD because of the car, let me clear things up a bit: The model was obviously based on the other variant of this sedan (in fact, it is the same car in the game), with a new front and rear fascia. While one version was indeed based on the Eunos 500/Xedos 6 (however created using the blueprint of a 4th gen 626, with a bit of Efini MS8 thrown in for the back to mix things up while sticking to the general early-mid 90s Mazda design language), the modifications seen on this variant were based on another manufacturer's JDM-only competitor of Mazda's "premium" midsize sedans. I don't want to reveal yet which car it is, but don't rely on their ingame brands too heavily, as only a limited number of names were available that wouldn't cover the whole range of brands in the game. I think you can assume how I got the info above. If anyone's interested, I can clear up some of the other vehicles once the game is out.
Mitsubishi Lancer Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | twingo wrote Case of Ubisoft being lazy: this shares similar body shape and pillars with this, just with different front and rear design. Or maybe the intend was to create more variety in the vehicle lineup by adding badge-engineered/facelifted variations of certain models that would otherwise not be in the game?
Mazda Xedos 6 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | Klumb3r wrote Unfortunately, everything in normal, and textures in high Hm, the textures don't seem to load properly then as even on console the license plates aren't that blurry. Theres also no ambient occlusion underneath the cars, making them look like they float.
Mazda Xedos 6 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017) | If these screenshots are from the PC version, which graphics settings are you using?
HSV GTS-R Forza Horizon 3 (2016) | Now that is awesome!
Dodge Intrepid Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Just browsing through google images I came across the '01 Stratus when it hit me. The general concave rear styling and shape of the C-pillar are getting as close to that super lowpoly Kuruma model as any car will get. I think most of us agree that the model was largely inspired by Chrysler's full- and midsize sedans around 2000 (when the Kuruma was designed) and definitely are not a Stylus. But I think the general proportions of the car are closer to the Stratus than they are to the Intrepid (it just isn't quite as long/sleek) so the Stratus would be my choice. And btw, amazing that I only noticed that now 2 days after this discussion started again. I expected to dig out a topic from 10 years ago.
Ford Crown Victoria Forza Horizon 3 (2016) | Holy shit finally! People have been asking for a Panther for ages. I really hope that means the '96 Impala SS finally returns as well!
Toyota Carina ED Gran Turismo 6 (2013) | Tbh Gran Turismo is the only game franchise where you can drive even fairly obscure JDM exclusive cars like these hard top versions of more ordinary cars. Thats what I love about the game and why they should definitely stay.
Lincoln Mark VIII Quantum Break (2016) | enzo96 wrote This car is so underrated & unloved in video games, it's so beautiful As Mark VIII owner, I couldn't agree more.
Quantum Break (2016) | Looks a bit like a 6 GrandCoupe with heavily redesigned front and rear fascias.
GMC Suburban Quantum Break (2016) | Probably a Yukon XL with that grille.
Chevrolet Impala Quantum Break (2016) | 2006-2013
Chevrolet Caprice Quantum Break (2016) | Love it, great to see they are still adding those into games regularly. This a 1993-94 btw, as indicated by the mirrors, rearquarter window shape and round rear wheel arches. I'd have to see the dashboard to tell which year it is exactly. -- Last edit: 2016-04-12 23:38:16
Skoda Octavia Combi Tom Clancy's The Division (2016) | @AutoTracker: Can confirm that was not the case.
Mercury Cougar XR-7 IMSA GTO Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) | Pretty amazing to see a late 80s/early 90s Mercury Cougar in the game, would have loved to see the stock XR7 though!
Subaru SVX Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) | Awesome to see this in Forza, my favorite car in the pack. More of cars like this please!
Toyota Camry Wagon Life is Strange (2015) | The red car in the middle is a last gen Cadillac Eldorado.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege (2015) | Its a horribly disfigured 2008+ Citroen C5 sedan. Compare the greenhouse, rear facia (spoiler, modified taillights, license plate placement) and front air intake with the real one.
Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera BeamNG.drive (2013) | Very interesting, great to see more cars of this type added. You don't see too many ordinary cars from around that time in games, even as knock offs.
Saturn ION Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison (2010) | 2003-2007 Saturn ION Sedan. The characteristic crease in the doors might be missing, but details like the door handles, the crease right under the side windows and the rear door window shape are a give away. I think you can even see the center mounted gage cluster which should be all you need. Also notice the taillight shape in this screenshot, obviously the characteristic roof line was changed to avoid copyright issues. img.gamefaqs.net/screens/a/3/9/gfs_197585_2_4.jpg -- Last edit: 2015-06-30 13:33:48
Chevrolet Caprice Battlefield: Hardline (2015) | 1993, see copcar for explanation.
Chevrolet Caprice Battlefield: Hardline (2015) | Pretty weird proportions. I'd say its a '93MY because of round rear wheel arches but no rounded corner in the rear quarter windows. Its still got the old style taillights but since these are pretty messed up anyway it shouldn't matter too much. The dash seems to look pre-94 as well.
Infiniti Q50 Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) | Nice.
Rolls-Royce Wraith Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) | Yup, my favorite RR now in Forza 5. Lets hope it'll stay like that in the future.
Honda Civic Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) | They just released the pre-facelift 2013 Civic Coupe SI for Forza Horizon a year ago, hope its clear for everyone why this pack is released for free. -- Last edit: 2014-02-06 15:56:46
Mugen Civic CRX Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) | A shame they didn't include the Civic from the Horizon Honda pack as well. Great addition tho! |
