No-Doz? It really works.
Really, really works.

so how long since you last slept?

It doesn't work for me.
But then, with two kids and a husband, I don't need help staying awake. I need help getting some sleep.

Well, you're not supposed to chew 'em like Good 'n' Plenty. A dude your size may need an extra one, not an extra handful....
I've got no desire to see you with the DT's, coming off no sleep, No-Doz and Diet Coke chasers. You might break a building. Rip the steering wheel right out of your car. I'd be like King Kong jones-ing for a banana.
Get right with a sleep schedule and don't screw around with it.

If you need a jolt FAST forget eating them - grind one up fine and snort'em it like lines of coke.
This method has been GradSchool™ and CrossCountry™ tested. About 3 minutes after honking up a line you'll be good to go for another 45 minutes or an hour.
No amount worked effectively for me much after about 36 hours...that was the outer limit and I was getting kinda twitchy and I could tell my judgment was being affected adversly. At some point you have to give up and just crash for 12-14 hours.
I stumbled across this technique when oral dosing, even with pretty large doses, had lost its effectivness. Snorting it can buy you another 6-12 hours or so before you MUST SLEEP.
Yea, this is pretty deranged shit, and I don't recommend it for anything but the most dire situations, nor for anything resembling extended periods. But...it WILL work.

When I was in the Army, we couldn't always get No-Doz, but the coffee powder packets in the MREs made acceptable substitutes. Pour the powder under your tongue, and *whammo* instant jolt.
Nowadays, I just wash down the No-Doz with a triple espresso and I'm good to go. :-)
