On 24 July 2024, a delegation headed by the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, Wesley Sinima, and the Ambassador of the Federated States of Micronesia to Japan, John Fritz, visited OGU, and an exchange agreement between OGU and the College of Micronesia-FSM was signed, bring the OGU's total number of partner universities to 69.
