    • Oct. 2024: We have an open position for a 6-month M2 internship, starting February 2025, on investigating at the molecular level the allosteric mechanism of a Ca2+-dependent activation of the EndoU ribonuclease. This work is a collaboration with S. Campgne's team in Bordeaux. Contact us for more details.
    • Oct. 2024: Puyo-Fourtine received the "Prix Jeunes Talents" from the L'oréal-UNESCO initiative For Women in Science, for her PhD work. Congratulations Julie !
    • Sept. 2024: We have the pleasure to welcome Vojtech Kostal, PhD student in Pavel Jungwirth's group (IOCB, Prague), for a 3-month research stay in the team. Supported by a Barrande fellowship.
    • Sept. 2024: New preprint out on ChemRXiv presenting Julie's work on the mechanism of rRNA maturation by the M5 enzyme.
    • July 2024: Sélène's and Marie's paper on exploring the reactive conformational space of the hairpin ribozyme is out in J. Chem. Theory Comput. ! Work in collaboration with G. Stirnemann at ENS (Paris). Preprint available on ChemRXiv

    • Jan. 2024: Our paper on probing TMA hydration with a combination of neutron scattering and molecular simulations is out in Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. !
    • Dec. 2023: Congratulations to Marie Juillé for the successful defense of her PhD thesis entitled "Minimal ribozymes for autocatalytic networks: Molecular simulations of the cleavage-ligation equilibrium"!

    • Oct. 2023: Laetitia Kantin started her PhD (ANR MUSIRICAT) in the group, on developing new computational methodologies to investigate the molecular origin of ion effects in ribozyme catalysis.

    • Feb. 2023: Laetitia Kantin joined us for a 6-month M2 internship. She will be working on designing Machine Learned corrections for highly accurate QM/MM-MD exploration of an ion-dependent ribozyme reaction mechanism.

    • Oct. 2022: We have an open position for a 6-month M2 internship, starting February 2023, on "Machine Learned corrections for highly accurate QM/MM-MD exploration of an ion-dependent ribozyme reaction mechanism". This internship could be continued with an already funded (ANR MUSIRICAT) PhD position in our group.

    • July 2022: Great news: our project MUSIRICAT "Multiscale Simulations to Unveil the Role of Divalent Cations in Ribozyme Catalysis" is funded for 4 years by ANR. Stay tuned!
