2023 Annual Report on monitoring the application of EU law
Every year, the European Commission draws up an annual report on its monitoring of the application of EU law.
The 2024 Rule of Law Report presents a synthesis of both the rule of law situation in the EU and an assessment of the situation in each Member State and enlargement countries.
The input from Member States and enlargement countries for the 2024 Rule of Law Report is published with their consent. In some cases, additional written contributions have been provided by the Member State, which are also published.
