Destruction of gambling Apparatus.

After the adjournment of the Mayor's Court, yesterday, a lot of gambling paraphernalia, consisting of faro-tables, chips, &c., recently captured by the civil police, was heaped into a pile and set fire to on Broad street, in front of the City Hall. The conflagration collected around a large number of curious boys and negroes, who stood by till the last remnant of the "tiger's" charms was swallowed up in the vapors of the fiery element.
