Local Matters.

Confederate States District Court.In Judge Halyburton's Court, yesterday, the case of George Grainger, claiming discharge from military service under a writ of habeas corpus, was decided adverse to the petitioner, and he was thereupon remanded to the custody of Captain William H. Fry, at Camp Lee.

The case of John Thomas Branch was continued till the 15th.

The court will meet again this morning at 11 o'clock.
