Rode into the dock.

--One of Colonel Danforth's militia, named William Duke, during the Cimmerian darkness of Monday night, being on horseback, lost his way and rode into the dock. Several persons hearing the splash, ran to the spot. The horse was floundering about, but was easily extricated. But Duke was dead before he could be gotten out. He is supposed to have been disabled by a kick from the horse, and so drowned. The Coroner held an inquest on the body yesterday morning, when the above facts were elicited.
