Attempting to go the enemy.

--N. Green, alias John Lindsey, and O. L. Gordon, conscripts from Camp Lee, were brought to this city yesterday and committed to Castle Thunder on the charge of being suspicious characters and attempting to go to the enemy. They were captured within a few miles of the enemy's lines, and were evidently designing to desert the Confederate service.

A man named W. F. McMullen, member of company H, 7th Va. cavalry, charged with horse stealing and desertion, was also committed to the Castle at the same time.
