The time has arrived for that innovation, and only last night I beheld with astonishment, not unmixed with terror, many ladies in silk and dress coats, waistcoats shirt collateral cravate — they have assumed them all in turpe. What remains for them to wear? And echo --Well, never mind what echo answers. I hope they won't get in the habit of standing with their backs to the fireplace and their hands in their pockets.
