Wholesale Desertions.
--A letter from a soldier in Florida, dated the 18th, says:‘ The Yankees are deserting and coming to us as fast as they can. Eighty-five came to us last night, and fifteen to-day. They say the whole army would come if they could get off. We expect a hundred in to night. I do not think the Yankees will give us another fight soon. They are all at Jacksonville, under cover of their gunboats.
