The city Poor.
--On Thursday, whilst awaiting the delivery of her demand at the city depot, an old and respected lady was robbed of her pocket-book, containing some money and the certificate which she intended to present for the necessary supplies. An eye should be kept to the crowd of rowdy boys who congregate at this place for the purpose of petty larceny. More particularly, some arrangement should be made to insure the prompt delivery of the necessaries, and to prevent such crowds collecting as do now congregate at the distributing depot at the corner of Cary and 11th streets.
