The late Lewis minor Coleman.
--The Rev. Dr. Burrows, of this city, delivers a lecture to-night, without regard to weather, before the Young Men's Christian Association, in the 1st Presbyterian Church, on the life and character of this eminent scholar and soldier who, during the last year, lost his life in the herole defence of his country. For some years prior to the war Mr. Coleman was Professor in the University of Virginia which distinguished position he relinquished for the perils of the field, and at the period of his untimely fall was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 1st regiment Virginia artillery. In the hands of a lecturer so eloquent and discriminating as Dr. Burrows, the delineation of a character so cultivated, pure, and patriotic, must be full of interest.
