Great Yankee breach of promise Case.

--Miss Calista Mather, daughter of a prominent Chicago merchant, has instituted a suit to recover from S. Aaron Pitney, of the same city, the sum of $25,000 for an alleged breach of promise to marry. The Doctor not only did not marry her, but, adding insult to injury, actually perpetrated matrimony with his housekeeper. The plaintiff is young and fair, and the defendant an old man.
