The siege of Charleston.

Charleston, Dec. 10.
--The enemy shelled the city between ten and eleven o'clock last night, and three and four o'clock this morning. Some twenty shots were thrown, but no serious damage inflicted, and no person injured. Our batteries opened heavily upon the enemy during the shelling of the city, and firing between the batteries still continues.

[second Dispatch.]

Charleston, Dec. 10.
--A constant fire has been kept up to-day, interrupting and driving the enemy's working parties from Gregg and Wagner. The enemy replied occasionally. No firing of any consequence on Sumter, and no shelling of the city to-day.
