Seal before a County Magistrate.
--A German, named Jacob Freyfogle, was carried before the Mayor yesterday to be examined on the charge of murdering Geo. Leathers, a youth, on Tuesday, by discharging a loaded horseman's pistol at his head. Before the examination was gone into it appeared that the murder had been committed outside the corporation limits. The Mayor thereupon sent the prisoner before a county Magistrate for examination. He was committed to the county jail. Freyfogle had accused Leathers of robbing his garden. The latter called him a liar, and he seized the pistol and blew out his brains. These are all the circumstances connected with the murder that have been made public. The prisoner was subsequently carried before Justice Nettles, who committed him for examination before the regular term of the County Court, which commences on Monday.
