Vicksburg. April 7.
--The enemy has been withdrawing troops from the peninsula.
Yesterday all the tents were struck.
Four large transports, loaded with troops, have gone up the river, and there are indications that others will follow.
Advices from Grand Gulf state that heavy musketry firing was heard above New Carthage for two hours on Sunday. It is supposed that Harrison's Cavalry attacked the Yankees near Roundaway Bayou.
