Fredericksburg, April 7th.
--Later Northern papers have been received here.

News has been received in New York that later foreign intelligence announces that the Confederate loan of £15,000,000 in London was a complete success, the bids largely exceeding the amount offered. It immediately rose to a premium of 4¼ per cent.

The Poles have been badly repulsed at Turnover, under Languwitz. Their loss was 450 killed and wounded, and the Russians also took 54 prisoners.

A Washington telegram announces that the United States Government is preparing to draft 200,000 men to fill up the ranks of the old regiments. Nothing is said respecting those whose enactments are expiring.

The Yazoo Pass expedition has been entirely abandoned.
