Sugar cane seed.

--The attention of the agricultural community is called to the importance of this valuable production, botanically known as "Sorgham Sucre," and commonly called Chinese sugar cane. It yields a valuable food for man and beast, yielding on good soll 100 gallons of syrup to the acre, and large quantities of fodder and seed in addition. We learn that a small supply of them will be offered in this market made by a well known planter of Brunswick, who has been raising it with great care from seed originally obtained from the "Patent Office." At the present prices of provisions this article constitutes one of the most valuable agricultural productions.
