--Governor Letcher on yesterday extended Executive clemency towards Benjamin Hughes, a convict in the Penitentiary, who was sent thither by the Circuit Court of the county, of Halifax for murder in the second degree. Hughes had served out a considerable portion of his term, and during his imprisonment had conducted himself in a very orderly manner.
