Marylanders, to the rescue!

--We earnestly invite the attention of refugees from the State of old Maryland to the advertisement headed ‘"Maryland Line."’ It will be seen that Capt. Edward Barry has been commissioned to raise a company of Marylanders to confront the despicable foe, and drive him back off the sacred soil of the old State, and thus redeem from thraldom their homes — all that is near and dear to the hearts of brave Marylanders. Those desirous of visiting their firesides under the flag of the invulnerable ‘"Stonewall"’ Jackson, will do well to consult Capt. Barry. We can assure them it will be to their interest.
