From Alexandria.

The Rev. Mr. Stewart, of Alexandria, who was dragged from his church by Federal soldiers, because he would not pray for Lincoln, and so outrageously treated by them has escaped, and is now in this city. He states that all the members of the Alexandria Benevolent Society, lately arrested and thrown into prison, have been released, except Henry Peel and H. O. Claughton.

Another gentleman, just arrived from Alexandria, says that the United States Government have ordered all merchants in the town to swear allegiance or shut up their shops.
