Sent on.

--A half witted lad, well known about the city as ‘"Dr."’ R. L. Bohannon, was carried before the Mayor yesterday, charged with arrogating to himself the right of possession to, and a consequent protectory interest in a case of surgical instruments, the property, goods, and effects of Dr. E. L. Carter, The testimony in the particular charge that affected the integrity of the erratic ‘"Doctor"’ on this occasion, was mostly of a circumstantial nature, but sufficiently strong to induce the impression on the Mayor's mind that if he did not take the case of instruments, he was in close proximity to the individual who effect the transfer. The accused was sent on to be examined before a called Court of Hustings, to be held on next Monday, and was put in jail in the meanwhile,
