Last Moments.
--As the existence of the State Convention of Virginia approaches near its termination, the component parts are more tenacious of life, and seem to give up the ghost most un willingly. Indeed, the slow moving manufacturers of organic patch-work got warmed up last night into something like youthful vigor, and but for the fact that many of them had missed their suppers, we believe they would have adopted a resolution that "We won't go home till morning." The Convention is a most respectable, but costly body. Its smallest item of expenditure is for stationary, amounting to nearly $3,000.
