--We learn from the late China papers that the insurgents have taken an important city called See-change yuen, four hundred miles from Ningue. At Chapoo, which place was also conquered, the carnage was awful, and those who escaped wore obliged to hide themselves among the caves and rocks, many dying of privations and starvation.
