A New arm.

--A new arm is being exhibited in New York. The article is a grenade and is thrown by hand in such a manner as to invariably strike on its point, which causes instant explosion and consequent destruction of the object that it comes in contact with.--It is of an oval form, and may be of any size, from one pound up to eight. Instead of the charge being ignited by a fuse, as is usual, it is done by an ordinary percussion cap. The nipple on which the cap is placed is hidden from view, and everything is so arranged that it is perfectly harmless, unless when intended to be thrown. As it is necessary that the grenade should always strike on its point, a vane is affixed at one end, which properly directs its course.
