Venerable drum

--The drum now in use by Capt. Hannah's company, of Polk county, says the Cleveland (Tenn.) Banner, is a relic of the Revolutionary war — it was beat at the charge on Yorktown. By good luck it has been preserved through a period of eighty years, and the Polk boys say it shall beat again at the charge on Washington.
