What Mecklenburg is doing.

--The Clarksville Tobacco Plant, of Friday last, says:

‘ The County Court, on last Monday, made an appropriation of $35,000 for the benefit of the volunteers. Provision is thus made for the three companies that have left the county, and for five companies that are now forming. Mr. John S. Wood is recruiting for a corps on this side of the river; Mr. Thos. T. Boswell for one on Bluestone; Col. Townes, jr., for one in the neighborhood of Boydton, and Mr. Oliver for one in the vicinity of the city. We learn that Mr. Pace is getting up a company in the lower end of the county. These companies are nearly full, and most of them will organize this week.
